The fields around the Duke farm hide more than failed crops and rusted machinery.

Eunice and Cleo Duke are respected foster parents in a God-fearing town near Huntsville. But beneath the surface of their isolated farm lies a trail of buried secrets and bloodshed stretching back years.

Sisters Rose and Violet Martin have already survived a brutal foster care system that has tossed them from farm to farm. When they are placed with the Dukes, Rose knows immediately something is wrong. The farm and the “family” feel more off than the foster families Rose has become accustomed to.

As local officer Michael Houston investigates a string of disappearances, he finds himself pulled toward the Duke farm and directly into the sights of someone determined to frame him and it’s not the Dukes.
