Henry

Late 1990s. New Orleans.

When Joe takes a job as a psychiatric technician at a sixty-year-old psych hospital, he is assigned a one-on-one named Henry. He is a troubled teenage boy with a history no one seems willing to fully explain.

Henry can be difficult and unpredictable. But he is also funny, vulnerable, and tender. As an unlikely bond forms between them, Joe begins to see something others may have missed: Henry desperately wants someone who won't leave.

Then another adolescent boy arrives on the unit. He's dangerous.
Henry knows him from the streets and from previous stays at the hospital.

And then there are the fires.

One destroyed part of the psych hospital. Another killed an elderly couple.

Everyone believes Henry is responsible.
But as Joe becomes more deeply involved in Henry's life, the truth becomes harder to separate from what everyone already believes.
